Thompson city crews are looking to finish more road and infrastructure work before colder temperatures bring the construction season to an end.

Mayor Colleen Smook says work on potholes, paving, curbs and sidewalks will continue while conditions allow, but preparations for winter operations are already getting underway.

Smook says preventative maintenance is also beginning on equipment needed for snow removal to make sure it’s ready once winter conditions arrive.
