CMHA Thompson and the Roots of Hope Thompson Network are inviting the community out for a free barbecue this month in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day.
CMHA Thompson CEO Michelle Kelly says Roots of Hope focuses on suicide prevention and promoting life through community events and support.
CMHA Thompson also offers one-on-one peer support at 43 Fox Bay, while anyone experiencing a suicide crisis can call or text 9-8-8 at any time.
