Manitobans can enjoy provincial parks for free over the Labour Day long weekend.
The province is waiving vehicle permit requirements from September 4th through the 7th, giving residents a chance to hike, paddle, visit the beach or take part in park programs.
Camping fees will still apply, and anyone planning to stay overnight is encouraged to reserve a campsite through the Manitoba Parks Reservation Service.
The province says select campgrounds will remain open through Thanksgiving weekend.
