Steps to Success is inviting Thompson residents to mark International Literacy Day with Lunch and Literacy next week.

The event takes place September 8th from noon until one, as International Literacy Day celebrates its 60th anniversary.

This year’s theme focuses on People, Planet and Prosperity, highlighting literacy as a tool for participation in society, informed decision-making and better educational and employment opportunities.

Residents are invited to join Steps to Success for the lunchtime event.
