RCMP have arrested three people following an investigation into drug trafficking occurring at a residence in Swan River.
On Aug. 20, at approximately 3:40 p.m., the Swan River General Investigation Section – assisted by Swan River detachment members and RCMP Police Dog Services – executed a search warrant at a residence on 6th Avenue North in Swan River. The warrant was obtained after RCMP received information and complaints that drug trafficking was occurring at the residence.
One resident, a 43-year-old Brandon male, was arrested by officers after being seen leaving the home as RCMP were preparing to execute the search warrant. Officers then executed the warrant and went inside the residence, finding and seizing:
- 26 grams of powder cocaine;
- 3.5 grams of crack cocaine;
- 268 prescription pills;
- Various drug paraphernalia, such as scales and packaging materials;
- $6,820 in cash; and
- An expandable baton.
Two Swan River females were arrested inside the home.
Collin Kosolowsky, 43, of Brandon is charged with:
- Trafficking of cocaine;
- Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking;
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; and
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
Two other Swan River residents – 42-year-old Wendy Ledoux and 70-year-old Ceone Jorgenson – are charged with:
- Possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking x2;
- Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; and
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon.
All three were released on undertakings.
