Construction on Thompson’s new aquatic centre is continuing, with much of the work now shifting to the inside of the fully enclosed building.

Mayor Colleen Smook says crews are currently waterproofing the competition and leisure pools, while work continues on roof insulation, interior walls and HVAC systems.

Construction is also underway in the administration and change room areas as crews continue installing the building’s mechanical and electrical systems.
