On August 17, 2026, at 9:08 am., The Pas RCMP were notified of possible human remains that had been located outside an address in Umpherville.

 

Officers attended the scene and discovered the remains between two residences.

 

An autopsy was conducted August 19.

 

RCMP can confirm the remains are those of a newly born infant or fetus.
