A new child-care centre in Winnipeg is set to create 152 licensed spaces for families.
The federal and Manitoba governments are providing a four-point-five-million-dollar capital grant toward the new Gray Family Centre at the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre.
The facility will offer infant, preschool, nursery and school-aged care, along with community and wellness spaces.
Construction is expected to begin this fall, with completion targeted for summer 2028.
