Manitoba RCMP say a traffic stop on the Trans-Canada Highway led to the seizure of approximately 970-thousand dollars in cash.
Police say an officer spotted a vehicle travelling 129 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone on July 31.
The vehicle was stopped near Brandon, and a subsequent search reportedly uncovered multiple bags containing Canadian currency.
Two Ontario men, 22-year-old Alireza Haghhood and 44-year-old Ahmad Ahmadi, were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime for the purpose of trafficking over five-thousand dollars.
RCMP say Ahmadi was released on a release order, while Haghhood remained in custody in Brandon.
Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services continues to investigate.
