Manitoba Funds Five Francophone Projects

The Manitoba government is funding five joint francophone projects through its bilateral co-operation agreement with New Brunswick.

The initiatives are designed to strengthen French-language organizations while encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the two provinces.

The projects will support areas including French-language education, arts and culture, and community development.

Manitoba and New Brunswick each contribute up to $20,000 annually to the program, with five projects approved for the 2026-27 fiscal year after funding requests exceeded the available budget.
