The Manitoba government is expanding its international trade network with the addition of new regional trade representatives in Europe and Mexico.

The province says the move is aimed at helping Manitoba businesses reach new markets, attract investment and reduce the province’s reliance on the U.S. market. 

The new representatives will work to build business relationships, identify export opportunities and support future trade missions.

The announcement builds on Manitoba’s recent decision to establish a trade representative in India as part of its long-term economic development strategy.
