On July 18, 2026, at approximately 9:30 am, God’s Lake Narrows RCMP were notified of a possible stabbing in the community.

 

Officers responded to residence where the incident was reported to have occurred and were advised that the male victim had already been taken to the nursing station.

 

At the nursing station, officers learned that a 38-year-old male who had suffered significant wounds due to a stabbing was being prepared for transport to hospital in Thompson for treatment.

 

He later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

 

God's Lake Narrow detachment continues to investigate with the assistance of RCMP Major Crime Services and the Forensic Identification Section.

 

There is no ongoing risk to the community.
