A 26-year-old Oxford House woman is facing charges following a stabbing in Thompson.

RCMP responded to a weapons complaint at a Mystery Lake Road business shortly before 8:40 p.m. on July 10.

Police arrested a suspect in the parking lot and later learned a woman had been stabbed nearby.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Autumn Okemow is charged with aggravated assault, possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and resisting or obstructing a peace officer.
