University and high school students alike are competing for summer jobs in a market that’s currently struggling.
Molly MacCormack, a Policy Analyst with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, has more.
MacCormack stated that there is a disconnect between employers and students looking for work.
She added there are jobs available, but that many young workers are rejecting certain types of employment if there is shift work, manual labour, or outdoor work.
