The Thompson Community Choir is looking for more people in the community to join in and sing.

 

The group first started in 2016 after a Facebook post brought together people who wanted a local choir in Thompson.

 

Since then, the choir has performed at community events like Remembrance Day, Christmas concerts, and the Festival of the Arts.

 

Olga Abbing, a member of the Thompson Community Choir, says people don’t need to be professionals — they just need to enjoy singing with others.

 

 

The choir rehearses most Sundays during the school year from 2 to 3 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Church across from R.D. Parker Collegiate.
