Wab Kinew recently announced the province is exploring options aimed at protecting kids online, with discussions focusing on screen time, social media use and overall mental health.
Dr. Joanne Unger, a clinical psychologist with Shared Health and assistant professor at the University of Manitoba, says one of the biggest concerns is when online activity starts replacing healthy real-world connection.
