Manitoba Public Insurance has launched a new online dashboard aimed at giving Manitobans easier access to road safety and collision information.

 

The Manitoba Collision Dashboard provides interactive data on collisions, injuries and fatalities across the province through MPI’s website.

 

The new system replaces the Traffic Collision Statistics Report, which had previously only been updated once a year.

 

MPI says the dashboard will now be updated monthly using information from law enforcement agencies and MPI’s claims team, allowing for more current and accessible information.

 

MPI adds the dashboard is intended to improve awareness around dangerous driving trends and help support prevention and enforcement initiatives across Manitoba.
