Music students from the School District of Mystery Lake schools and the Thompson Community Band are joining up for an evening of music to support CancerCare Manitoba.
Stevie MacPherson, co-director of the Thompson Community Band, tells us about the Manitoba Wave of Light project.
A concert featuring the Thompson Community Choir, the Brass Ensemble and R.D. Parker Collegiate’s “Vocomotion” will take place on Tuesday, May 5th at 7 pm in the Letkemann Theatre.
The evening will wrap up with a performance of “Wave of Light”, a music work composed by Winnipeg musician Peter Meechan.
