The Manitoba government is hosting a provincewide hiring forum aimed at helping more nurses and health-care aides enter the workforce.
Health, Seniors and Long-Term Care Minister Uzoma Asagwara says the goal is to connect qualified workers directly with employers and remove barriers that may be keeping them from getting into practice.
The one-day event will take place April 8th at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Officials say employers from across Manitoba will be there, including opportunities in rural and northern communities.
Attendees will be able to meet with employers, take part in on-site interviews, and learn more about high-demand clinical roles.
The province says the forum is part of a broader effort to recruit and retain health-care workers and strengthen patient care across Manitoba.
