Northern Health Regions encourages taking advantage of summer weather

Don’t let the great summer weather go to waste.

Get outdoors.

That’s a message from Bruce Krentz, Health Promotions Coordinator for the Northern Health Region.

He lists some activities here that anyone can enjoy.

“There are lots of things to do outside too, right? Relaxing in a hammock, go out for a picnic, go camping, think about flying some kites, hit a bike trail or the Millennium trail, get on the multiuse path, or going fishing are some of the great things you can do.”

Krentz added that a fishing trip doesn’t have to involve a boat and a lot of gear.    Fishing from the shoreline can be just as satisfying and doesn’t require a lot of planning.

He suggests making up a list of the things you’d like to do before the summer months disappear.
