A free Summer Safety Community Block Party is set to take place from noon to 4 pm this Tuesday at the Eastwood Splash Pad.
It’s hosted by the Hello Parents Network to bring awareness to Safe Kids Day.
Kids can take part in the Bike Rodeo, help paint the RCMP van, take part in crafts and enjoy some games, dancing and karaoke.
There will be safety give-aways, as well.
The Block Party provides a chance to learn about how to keep our kids safe from predictable and preventable injuries and everyone is invited to speak with representatives from the Hello Parents Network.
The event is free and runs from noon to 4 pm.
