The Kin Club of Thompson held a March for Kindness this past Saturday.

Their goal was to collect shoes and socks for kids at the Thompson Crisis Centre and for the Sidney Project in Shamatawa, which collects footwear for kids in that community.

Kin Club President Shannon Johnston reported that 28 pairs of shoes were collected along with many pairs of socks and even some toques.

Each group received approximately 280 dollars.
