CRA outreach officer offers information session at Ma-Mow-We-Tak next Wednesday

If you’re unsure about the tax benefits and credits you’re eligible for, consider contacting the Canada Revenue Agency.

Joanne de Wall, Communications Manager with the C-R-A shares an important resource here.

“We have a great resource for checking out the benefits finder on the Canada.ca website. What you’ll do is just answer a few basic questions like what age group you are in, what is your family situation, that kind of thing. It will give you a list of all the possible benefits that you might be eligible for and it will also explain what you need to apply for those.”

Or you can drop by the Ma Mow We Tak Friendship Centre on November 15th at 1:30 for an information session being presented by the C-R-A.

An outreach officer will be on hand with information on how benefits are calculated, how and when you should apply for them, and how different tax credits can be claimed.

The session is sponsored by the Thompson Seniors Community Resource Council and all are welcome to attend.
