Over the next two weeks, Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation is gathering feedback from members about where their new skate park will be built in the community.

The First Nation said in a social media post yesterday the seven thousand square-foot skate park will begin construction July 2nd and is anticipated to be completed by August 10th.

Members can fill out a survey in-person or online and choose between three sites for the park.

They are: the corner of New School Road and Main Road, beside the Gilbert McDonald Arena, and the bay road area near high rocks.
