With the North Forge North Fabrication Lab unveiled to community leaders late last month, North Forge says similar venues are planned to open in the province’s northwest later this year or early 2023.

The purpose of the Fab Lab is to assist those who wish to produce prototypes and products but may not have access to the equipment.

It will also allow anyone who completes safety training to take part in workshops and training.

North Forge North was made possible in partnership with UCN, and was created through what’s now known as the Prairies Canada grant and funding from the provincial government.
