Law enforcement in Norway House Cree Nation is investigating a death of a man, which is believed to be suspicious in nature.

RCMP got a report of a man in medical distress Saturday night at a residence in the community.

The 41-year-old was transported to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

An RCMP press release says it’s believed the man was in a physical altercation with an unknown person during Friday evening.
