Planning for this year’s Winterfest is underway, and the committee organizing the event shared what they have on the docket so far.

 

The events coordinator for the City of Thompson, Darlene Dick, says some of the activities planned for Winterfest include contests, a scavenger hunt, a take-out pancake breakfast, and a fireworks display.

 

Dick explains the committee is planning mostly virtual and outdoor events that comply with COVID-19 protocols.

Winterfest weekend will take place from Feb. 25-27.
