With the province loosening restrictions for Phase 3 of the reopening plan, the Northern Health Region spoke to Arctic Radio to go over what this means for the north.

Doctor William Libich, a medical officer of health with the authority, says residents can see the announcement of Phase Three as "very good news".

Libich explains the new orders will set the stage for a wider reopening down a line and provide a greater sense of normalcy.

Libich adds that while wearing masks will no longer be required, it’s still recommended that people wear them, especially those who haven’t been vaccinated.
