Manitoba Parks is advising that aerial surveys for mineral exploration will be underway in the surrounding area.
The surveys will be conducted with a helicopter with a piece of equipment underneath, and are based out of the Thompson Airport and Sasagiu Rapids Lodge.
The areas being surveyed are Paint Lake, Pisew Falls, and Sasagiu Rapids, and the effect on the public will be minimal as it will be a standard exploration survey.
The permit starts tomorrow and ends May 30th.
