CCS encourage Canadians to continue to support cancer research as a part of Daffodil Month

With nearly one in two Canadians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, the Canadian Cancer Society is asking for support to continue the fight against the disease.

Spokesperson Brad Stevenson says for more than 70 years, the organization has been able to fund research, provide support systems for those who have cancer, and shape health policies thanks to their fundraising efforts.

A major fundraiser for CCS is the Daffodil Month campaign. This year, the organization is asking Canadians to donate and create a digital daffodil at action.cancer.ca.
