To commemorate Liver Health Month, the Canadian Liver Foundation is asking Canadians to learn more about liver disease.
Communications manager Morgan Davidson says the most prominent type of liver disease in Canada is non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, which affects more than 20 per cent of the population.
The Canadian Liver Foundation has launched its awareness campaign called “Just Ask”, where they encourage people to reach out to them with questions about liver disease to their panel of experts on social media.
