KTC’s Jordan’s Principle case manager spoke to Arctic Radio about the community-based initiative.

Danette Blacksmith says the aim of the program is to provide services, supports, and resources at the community level to help Indigenous children and families access health services.

Blacksmith says services and supports that Jordan’s Principle provides includes advocacy, referrals, counselling, and on and off reserve case management.
