To help children in youth celebrate the holidays this year by getting them a gift from Santa, the North of the 55th Toy Drive will be collecting donations for families who may be struggling.
Tiffany Price, a Co-Founder of the toy drive, explains that they’re mainly accepting financial donations through e-transfer, but will also take new toys that are not wrapped as well.
The initiative is focussing their efforts on the communities with the greatest needs, which include Split Lake, Lynn Lake, Shamattawa, Leaf Rapids, and Gods Lake.
The toy drive will be accepting donations until December 11th.
