Thompsonites will have an opportunity to share their ideas for the upcoming provincial budget.

Finance Minister Scott Fielding will be holding a budget consultation meeting, as the province says they welcome suggestions on how government spending and revenue should be prioritized.

They add that they’re looking for innovative ideas to save money while ensuring services are available.

The meeting will be this Monday, Jan.13 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Best Western Thompson.

Those who aren’t able to make the meeting can also contribute to the discussion by filling out an online survey at engagemb.ca.
