Local RCMP seeking witnesses in two separate stabbing, robbery cases

Thompson RCMP is investigating two separate weapons-related incidents, including one stabbing.

 

At around 10:19 p.m. on Monday, police responded to a report that multiple people carrying weapons were chasing another person near Highland Towers.

 

As police were responding, they received an update that someone was stabbed on Princeton Drive past Station Road.

 

The victim was found by officers with non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Thompson General Hospital.

 

Earlier on Monday afternoon after 3 p.m, police received a report of a man who had a knife pulled on him outside Princeton Tower South.

 

The report indicated two youth stole the man’s jacket and phone, and no injuries were reported. One of the youth was seen wearing a black jacket and orange hat.
