One man is dead following a fatal vehicle rollover on Highway 6.

 

At approximately 8:20 pm, on Dec. 21, Grand Rapids RCMP received a report of the rollover,  located approximately ten kilometers north of Devils Lake.

 

The investigation has determined that a SUV, being driven by a 58-year-old female from Nelson House, was heading northbound when it lost control and entered the ditch and rolled. Road conditions were reported to be icy.

 

The 51-year-old male passenger, also from Nelson House, was pronounced deceased on scene.

 

The driver and passenger were both wearing seatbelts and alcohol is not a factor in the collision.

 

Grand Rapids RCMP, along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
