Thompson RCMP is investigating an incident involving a taxi cab.

On Dec. 20 at approximately 10:45 PM, police received a complaint that a taxi had dragged a passenger several feet after it had stopped to drop off the passenger, and the passenger began to exit the vehicle.

The passenger sustained minor injuries and was not hospitalized.

Based on the evidence obtained, the cab driver was identified and arrested, and was later released to appear in court at a later date.
