The Thompson RCMP detachment was busy during May.
That’s according to the recently released Thompson Municipal Policing Report, which is set to be reviewed at the next Public Safety meeting in September.
According to the report, numbers were up for impaired operation charges when compared to statistics from May 2017.
Other categories that saw an increase this year include assaults, sexual assaults and provincial traffic violations.
Break-and-enters is one category that saw a decrease in May, though the RCMP are still reporting a year-to-date increase in 2018 over 2017.
Numbers remained the same for theft, though the Mounties are reporting an increase in year-to-date numbers over 2017.
