Last Saturday was the annual Vale night for the Norman Northstars.
Ryan Land, from Vale, spoke to 102.9 CHTM and said that they had around 800 people at the game, with around 200 taking part in the pre-game festivities and Vale open-house.
Instead of having to pay the usual admission for the game, those in attendance were encouraged to make a donation towards The Salvation Army.
Land said that $515.65 was donated, in addition to 157 food items.
The donations will be brought to The Salvation Army in Thompson tomorrow.
