Westwood had a gym full of students and new citizens of Canada when the Canadian Citizenship Ceremony took place.

86 individuals were accepted as Canadian citizens as one by one they accepted a citizenship certificate and shook hands with officials from all forms of government.

A few children from Westwood School were accepted as citizens and when they went up to accept their certificate was cheered by their co-students.
