Burgers to Beat MS had its most successful year to date last week when it collected a record-breaking $1.75 million dollars in donations.
$1 from every teen burger sold last Thursday went to the MS Society of Canada. After its eighth year, the campaign now has raised close to $10 million.
$20,000 was donated to the MS Society after a video from A&W was shared 20,000 times on Facebook.
Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world, which makes it commonly known as Canada's disease. It is a common neurological disease among young adults.
