The Thompson Boys and Girls Club has been approved for a $9,000 government grant.

The money will go towards building a ramp to improve accessibility at the building that services more than 500 youth in the community.

The Manitoba government is giving more than $3 million in grants through their community places grant which supports improvements at recreational, cultural, and community facilities.

The City of Thompson also received a grant for $6,400 and the Thomson Lions Club received $25,000.
