The Thompson Trailbreakers say they are about 2 weeks ahead of schedule thanks to the snow and cold experienced in November. Along with preparing the trails, the Trailbreakers expanded this year with a maintenance building for equipment, and a warm-up shelter for the Kelsey trail.

The trails are expected to open before Christmas.
