People First Thompson officially thanked the Thompson Regional Community Centre for building a wheelchair accessible ramp and platform last week.

John Burrows from the TRCC told us that residents who tried watching a game at the Gordon Beard Arena weren't able to, and submitted a request for the ramp and platform to be built.

The TRCC also plans to make the doors to the Gordon Beard Arena automatic, making the arena wheelchair accessible.
