It’s true - winter will soon be here!

For some of us, that’s good news.  Especially if you’re the kind of person who likes the crisp, clean winter air as you head out for a walk, go sledding, skiing, or snowmobiling.

And so we can help everyone enjoy our long winters, 102.9 CHTM is proud to promote our  “Winter Warm-Up”.

We’re collecting winter gear for children, women and men to keep them warm so they can enjoy our long northern winter.

What are we collecting?  Everything from warm socks and boots, to jackets and ski pants, to mitts, toques, scarves and neck warmers.

Basically, anything that will keep people comfortable when the extreme low temperatures hit.

So, start checking your closets, drawers or storage bins to find the items you no longer use that may come in handy to someone else.

If you don’t have items to share, 102.9  CHTM will also accept cash donations to help purchase needed items.  

Just drop off your contribution to us at 103 Cree Road, next door to Doug’s Source for Sports.

Then we’ll make sure they get to the various agencies in town who can distribute them to those in need.
