The OCN Blizzard were singing the blues following a pair of weekend losses to the Winnipeg Blues.

The Blizzard traveled to Winnipeg for Friday and Sunday night games against the Blues, but came up short.

The Friday night affair saw the Blues opening up the scoring at the end of the second period, with Michael Ladyman potting home his second of the season from Nick Cicek and Matt Leblanc. OCN would tie things up 30 seconds into the third thanks to Eamonn Miller. Dexter Kuczek scored his 28th of the season with less than five mintues to play to give the lead, and the 3-1 win, to Wininpeg.

Sunday night saw a bit more of a spirited affair between the two teams. The Blizzard opened the scoring near the end of the first, but it was answered by Winnipeg before the horn sounded. The Blues would get goals from Devon Skoleski and Dexter Kuczek in the ssecond, while Trygve Many Guns added one for the Blizzard. OCN added one more in the third to force overtime, followed by a shootout. Dexter Kuczek was the only skater to score for either team in the shootout.

The Blizzard are on the road again tomorrow as they face the Swan Valley Stampeders.
