Operations have resumed at the Leaf Rapids Health Centre following a nearly month-long hiatus.
According to a Northern Health Region notice, clinical services commenced yesterday afternoon, which includes the emergency department and primary care.
Additionally, Public Health is continuing all scheduled prenatal, postnatal, and in-home visits for immunizations, along with other public health activities.
The Leaf Rapids Health Centre closed temporarily on December 27th due to staffing problems at the facility.
The Northern Health Region echoed their words from when the Gillam Hospital reopened earlier this month, stating the staffing situation at Leaf Rapids remains dicey.
However they add every effort is being made to maintain health services close to home.
