The awareness campaign to stop gender-based violence is back this year, and will be held virtually.
The YWCA Thompson’s Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event has began and will run until December 10th.
The Y is asking men to participate by taking a picture of them wearing red high heel shoes and sending them to the YWCA, which will be shared on their social media.
They are also asking the participants to seek pledges, and the funds raised will be used to support the local Y’s Women’s Centre.
