A youth is under arrest after breaking into a home while intoxicated.
On Sunday, Jan. 26 at around 3:15, Thompson police were informed of a break and enter in progress on Grass River Drive.
RCMP arrived on the scene, and were notified by residents in the area at a 14-year-old boy was the culprit.
This youth was arrested and faces a number of charges, including Break and Enter, Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace, Mischief under $5,000, Possession of Break-in tools or instruments, in addition to a breach of a court order.
The suspect was taken into custody, and was later released when sober to appear in court at a later date.
