RCMP Arrest Two After Meth Found North Of Grand Rapids

A man from Brandon is in custody and faces multiple charges following an incident on Highway 6 north of Grand Rapids.

 

RCMP members from the local detachment received a report of an erratic male standing in the middle of the highway that was making verbal threats to shoot people.

 

When officers arrived on scene, they were eventually able to apprehend the man without injury.

 

The investigation that followed led police to a car just north of where the man was arrested.

 

A female was seen heading towards the vehicle, and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

 

Both individuals were determined to have been travelling together.

 

44-year-old Raymond Vidler faces charges including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of a controlled substance.

 

Charges are pending against the 42-year-old woman.
